Storylines and Characters

STORYLINES & CHARACTERS:

1) The rich politic man and his wife. Rick Cabot/Jean Cabot:

He and his wife are carjacked by Anthony and Pete, they are black.
Rick arranges for his assistant to blackmail Detective Graham Waters, who is black, into testifying against a white cop whom Graham thinks is innocent in order to create a press event which will reassure voters of Cabot's racial sensitivity.
At the end of the film, Jean have an accident in her home, she realizes that the person who is the kindest and most helpful to her is María, her Hispanic maid, when all his friends were having a message and somethink like that.

- Rick Cabot: is the district attorney. Los Angeles who manipulates racial politics in order to further his career.
- Jean Cabot: she's Rick's wife, whose racial prejudices escalate after the carjacking.

2) Two black thifes:

They were walking in the street and they stole a car, the Cabot's car, to sell it. One day, Anthony stole another car, but this time it was a black person's car. In the end he realises that he has been a racist. In this story, another black man is ashamed him.

- Anthony: he's an African-American car thief, who steals cars. He believes that society is unfairly biased against black. But he is the first who steal a car to black man.

- Peter Waters: he's Anthony's friend and the partner in the crime. He is Detective's Waters younger brother. He discreate with his friend Anthony because he said that not all the people are racist.

3) Black man:

He's a detective. Her mum wonted to found her other son, and Graham promise that he will find he. Finally he sow her brother, but in the street dead. Ria is his partner on the job and her girlfriend.

- Detective Graham Waters: is an African-American detective. He is disconnected from his poor family, which consists of his drug-addicted mother and criminal younger brother. He promises his mother that he will find his younger brother, but he is preoccupied with a case concerning a suspected racist white cop who shot a corrupt black cop.

- Ria: is a Latine detective as Graham partner and girlfriend.

4) The two police officer:

He observing his partner Officer John Ryan pull over Cameron Thayer and Christine Thayer and sexually molest Christine, requests a change of partner because of feelings of guilt over the incident. His supervisor, Lieutenant Dixon, tells him he will transfer him if he claims his "uncontrollable flatulence" requires him to drive a one man car. Ryan is trying to get help for his father, who possibly suffers from prostate cancer but has been diagnosed with a bladder infection, despite the ineffectiveness of treatment.

- Offer Tomy Hansen: is a police office, who observing his partner, John Ryan pull over Cameron Thayer and Christine Thayer and sexually molests Christine.

- Officer John Ryan: is a police officer who physically molests Cameron's wife, Christine, under the pretense of searching for a weapon after pulling over their vehicle and accusing.


5) The black cuple:

Cameron and Christine were in his car, when officer Ryan molesting his wife and later realises that the producers of his television show propagate racist stereotypes about black people. In an emotional moment. Another day, Christine were in his car, when was a fire.

- Cameron Thayer: is a black television director. He witnesses Officer Ryan molesting his wife and later realises that the producers of his television show propagate racist stereotypes about black people.

- Christine Thayer: is Cameron's wife. She's molested by the officer. The next day she is trapped in an overturned car due to a car accident and, by a twist of fate, Officer Ryan is the man who willingly endangers himself to save her life.


6) The Persion shop:

Daniel's job is to clean locksmith, and one day went to the Cabot's house, and Jean don't wont to change it because the person who did that was Daniel. And, after that he went to Farhad shop and sucses this to.

- Daniel Ruiz: is a Mexican-American locksmith who faces discrimination from Jean and others.

- Farhad: is a Persian store owner who is afraid for his safety. He is depicted as frustrated by the racial harassment he experiences in the United States, as well as deterred by difficulties with speaking English.

- Dorri: is Farhad daughter, and is more acclimated than her father to American culture. She is constantly trying to calm her father down during his emotional outbursts.


7) Others


Jake Flanagan: is an aide to Rick who tries to talk Graham into accepting a corrupt deal. He holds a complex viewpoint that is not blatantly racist, yet he makes bigoted remarks in a conversation with Detective Waters.

Shaniqua: is the HMO representative for the insurance company used by Officer Ryan's father.

Lucien: is a person who runs a chop shop in wich Anthony and Peter try to sell cars. The two thieves first try to sell him the Lincoln Navigator they stole from the Cabots.
